Fujiya’s travelling sweets fair lands in Ikebukuro for the first time as Peko Fes, 9 to 28 September 2026. Two pop-ups run at once: Sunshine City ALTA 1F event space, 11:00–20:00, and Seibu Ikebukuro 3F cosmetics promo space, 10:00–20:00. The same four-shop stamp card also covers Peko-chan House inside ALTA and Fujiya Ginza at Seibu.
ALTA: Sanrio booth, 45-second candy grab, 13 September greeting
ALTA is the noisier of the two rooms. Fujiya’s Sanrio Characters popup sells LOOK A La Mode charm pens at ¥935 and Milky pass holders at ¥1,078, plus pouches, key charms, aurora stickers, and a Milky tin. A first-look Sanrio panel, a giant Pompompurin balloon for the character’s 30th year, and a mirrored photo spot fill the rest of the floor.
The candy grab costs ¥1,100 for one 45-second bag. Stock listed on the official page includes Country Ma’am vanilla and cocoa, 7-piece Milky, and Home Sakutto corn and potato crisps. Cap is 50 people a day, one round each. Bags that will not close do not count. Check the allergen board on site. Spend ¥2,500 in one ALTA or Seibu pop-up bill and you get a Smile Switch shopper, while stocks last, or buy the bag for ¥230.
Pompompurin, winner of the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking, greets with Peko-chan on Sunday 13 September in three 30-minute slots: 11:45, 13:45, and 15:15. Each slot takes 25 pairs, 75 pairs in total, two people per pair not counting preschoolers. You need a lottery ticket handed out 10:15–10:45 in front of the Kaldi shutter, plus ALTA Peko Fes receipts that include Sanrio goods and add up to ¥3,240 from 9 September through the greeting. Winners check a list around 11:00 at Peko-chan House. Arrive 15 minutes early with the ticket and the receipts. Fujiya will not stage extra dances on request, and it asks you not to post photos of other guests.
Seibu 3F: Kinokuniya bags that ALTA will not sell
Seibu keeps the Sanrio collab off this floor and instead opens Kinokuniya bags and the new Peko and Poko friends line. The navy Kinokuniya cotton bag is ¥2,750, about 220 by 350 mm, five per person. The white-and-red compact nylon bag is ¥1,760, about 510 by 440 mm, also five per person. Trading embossed clear pouches are ¥880, eight designs, eight per person. Tote bags are ¥1,100 with the same cap. Sodateru Towel’s petit hand towels, a first collab, are ¥1,760, ten per person, with a Seibu-only mist colour. Both rooms sell the LOOK A La Mode tin and the Premium LOOK raw-caramel tin at ¥880 each.
Four stamps, three gifts, and how to walk it
Spend ¥1,000 at a stop, get a stamp. ALTA pop-up plus Peko-chan House unlocks LOOK puffy stickers and a booklet. Seibu pop-up plus Fujiya Ginza unlocks the Milky version. Hit all four and you add a six-ring smile binder. Stamp desks at the two pop-ups close 28 September. The two permanent shops keep stamping through 15 October, which matters if you split the walk. Gifts run out. JR Ikebukuro East Exit is the short walk to ALTA and Sunshine City. Seibu’s own department-store gates drop you on the 3F cosmetics floor.
