Baskin-Robbins, known in Japan as 31 Ice Cream, is the global ice cream chain's outlet inside the Sunshine City Alta building, on the B1 floor. The brand's idea is to offer a different flavour for each day of a 31-day month, drawing on a catalogue of more than 1,300 recipes and keeping 31 flavours on the counter at any one time. The selection rotates with the seasons and customer tastes, covering a broad age range, and the menu includes regular cups, mini and family-size take-home packs and the popular Popping Shower mint-and-chocolate flavour. The shop sits within the Sunshine City complex, which keeps mall hours, making it a convenient stop after a meal or a turn around the aquarium and shops.
