About This Event / イベントについて
Sunshine Aquarium adds a Christmas touch to its Marine Garden each December. A ~3m Christmas tree stands in the garden, joined by penguin and sea lion plushie trees and large decorative wreaths throughout the facility.
The Marine Garden illumination runs year-round, but December brings special Christmas decorations. Aquarium admission required (adults ¥2,600+, children ¥1,300+). Located on the Sunshine City rooftop, connected underground to Ikebukuro Station.
As of 16 October 2026 Sunshine Aquarium's public site lists autumn exhibitions and closure dates, not a 2026 Christmas overlay. Treat December 1–25 as last year's pattern until the aquarium posts.
サンシャイン水族館は毎年12月、マリンガーデンにクリスマス装飾を追加。約3mのクリスマスツリーのほか、ペンギンやアシカのぬいぐるみツリー、大型リースが施設内に飾られます。
マリンガーデンのイルミネーションは通年ですが、12月は特別なクリスマス装飾が登場。水族館入場料（大人¥2,600～、こども¥1,300～）が必要。サンシャインシティ屋上、池袋駅と地下直結。
2026年10月16日時点の水族館サイトは秋の展示と休館日で、今年のクリスマス企画は出ていない。12月1〜25日は昨年の枠。発表までそう読む。
